Scion Shows Its Younger Side at the Los Angeles Auto Show

Scion Shows Its Younger Side at the Los Angeles Auto Show
Scion is ready to take the market by storm.

Although it belongs to Japanese manufacturer Toyota, the Scion brand was born in the United States, specifically in California. It is therefore normal that the manufacturer chose the Los Angeles Auto Show, which took place in late November, to present the iM concept, a hatchback that could possibly one day compete with the Mazda3.

Scion also took advantage of the Los Angeles Auto Show to announce that it planned to launch two new models over the next two years. Back to the iM, Scion has already confirmed that production would begin in 2015. The concept showcased sporty and dynamic lines that fit perfectly with Scion’s youthful personality. On the concept, 19-inch forged alloy wheels gave a very sporty character to the car. The brakes, absolutely huge, should enable the iM concept to offer impressive performance when it is time to slow down. Also, a racing, height-adjustable suspension should allow the concept to provide sparkling performance on a circuit. Although the production model will likely be less extreme, the fact remains that the last Los Angeles Auto Show, along with the iM concept, demonstrate how Scion is ready to take the market by storm.
